Farm Credit Mid-America Enrichment Program
The Farm Credit Mid-America (FCMA) Enrichment Program provides funding to make travel, competition, and club activity more accessible for students to enrich the college experience and to increase interaction between the credit and financial services industry and students.

How to Apply
To apply for funding through the Farm Credit Mid-America Enrichment Program, email Karen DeLong ([email protected]) the following information:
- Name of the student, club, or group making the request
- The specifics of the request (i.e. how you propose to use the funds)
- The approximate dollar amount of the request
- Guarantees that all other possible funding sources have been exhausted (e.g. the Herbert Travel Funding Request Form has already been submitted, if applicable)
Preference is given to requests for events that are most closely aligned with the mission of this program, which includes “increasing the interaction between the credit and financial services industry and students.”
Examples of Funded Activities
The Farm Credit Mid-America Enrichment Program has supported the following:
- Collegiate Farm Bureau, 4-H, and FFA field trip to Spring Field, North Carolina
- Field trips to Tosh Farms and Catesa Farms
- Competition travel for the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics Quiz Bowl Team and the UT Forage Bowl Team
- Club events like Block and Bridle’s Rocky Top Classic Cattle Show
- Lodging associated with student job shadowing with Swift Trading in Nashville, Tennessee
- UT Dairy Club supplies for Ag Day
- Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics graduate student supplies
- Food for the Collegiate Farm Bureau, 4-H, and FFA fall event
